Re: J.D. Power Kizashi Overview
After catching up on my reading, seeing some comments on Consumer Reports on this forum, and after viewing the attached article on the 10 worst cars according to Consumer Reports (CR)... or at least the ones the author thought CR disliked the most I wanted to add my two cents. http://www.cheatsheet....

New Suzuki Vehicles & Suzuki Merger?
FYI on new Suzuki vehicles (this may have been posted previously) and prospective merger. Merger news (Fiat Chrysler) w/Suzuki is probably wishful thinking but if true (doubtful), 'might' lead to Suzuki's return to the NA market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGchgjHOujU http://www.fool.com/invest...

Re: How should you buy a car that's over 200 miles away?
No problem/worries (as my Aussie buddy would say). I was just curious. Sorry it hasn't worked out so far but good luck on the Subaru. BTW; I know I'm showing my age (50s, insecurities, bias, etc) but please be careful when dealing with anyone on Craigslist. I know there are millions of successful tr...

Re: How should you buy a car that's over 200 miles away?
Here's how I would do it based on quite a bit of experience doing ... the same thing on several previous vehicle purchases. I would negotiate as much as possible by phone first. Make sure you can buy the car in the 'ballpark' price you're looking for. Assuming you can, I would shop for the best 1-da...

Re: Fuel additives?
Good point! I think you're right--- they're referring mostly to the North American market in those two articles. However, one article (posted earlier) and listed below opines " adding that most grades of gas available in the developed world “contain the proper additives and detergents to keep t...

Re: Fuel additives?
Previous poster(s) that state gas additives work are providing their OPINIONs, not FACTS. OPINIONs are like organs (changed from original quote for decency purposes), everyone has them. See attached articles: http://www.cracked.com/article_19704_6-car-myths-that-cost-you-money-every-year.html http:/...

Re: Fuel additives?
I know I won't sway many people's "opinions" on this subject but just wanted to post a recent article I saw on BBC autos. I was interested in the "premium does not equal better" section...here it is for what it's worth. They didn't reference use of a SEM (scanning electron micros...
