Yes, definitely needs to round of the front ends. Probably having it shorter will prevent more scraping.

That actually is a good question, even though my kit is 4" above the ground, it is still scraping off some speedbumps and suddent change in road incline.
I will probably remove another inch and the length by 1 inch.
