Serpentine Belt & Tensioner

I'm due for mine on my 2012 SE AWD with 110,xxx miles. What parts do y'all recommend for the belt & tensioner that won't take ten years to ship?

Re: Snow tires

Have you tried putting them on the car? If they don't rub the fenders they'll work just fine. They'll raise the car up a bit giving it more ground clearance to go over the snow. 1.4 inches more ground clearance. 10% difference in odometer and speedometer readings, if your speedo reads 60 mph you're...

Re: Snow tires

Hi all, it's that time of year, and I of course got the wrong size (235/65R17, bought for another car and had them kicking around, they're like new but too big! they're on their own rims.). I've been struggling to find the correct size specs for my car (2012 Kizashi SE AWD w/ Leather Package), all ...

Re: Looking to purchase a Kizashi

Its a good buy if the trans is in perfect condition. I would have liked to have viewed a picture of the trans pan floor and filter screen to be sure of its condition. I didn't notice anything "off" during the test drive. No grinding or squealing, just a barely audible whirring, almost lik...

Re: Looking to purchase a Kizashi

These codes are actually normal. The power steering throws this code when the codes are checked with the engine off. If you start the car check the codes, this goes away. The other codes are with the automatic air and I see them often there’s no problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I figured...

These were the codes pulled from the car. Is it worth buying at $5500? Or should I just wait for something else to come along?

Re: Looking to purchase a Kizashi

Update: got the PPI back, with an overall clean bill of health. only minor issues: valve cover gasket is seeping a tiny bit, plugs could use changed, and the rear rotors have a small amount of rust. The good news, however, is that the transmission is clean and running smooth. What do y'all think, wh...

Re: Looking to purchase a Kizashi

If I were buying one of these at near retail price, I would really want to make sure that that transmission was not going to bleed you later. When you’re having the inspection done by the mechanic, I would recommend draining the fluid from the Cvt into a clean container And then lower the transmiss...
