Viendo los síntomas que mencionas te recomiendo que hagas lo que hice yo. Sin miedo metele taladro y vuela los remaches con cuidado. Apuesto dentro esta todo cochino. ...

Just for posterity and if anyone needs this additional detail, the intake manifold is different between the grand vitara and the kizashi, despite both 2.4L engines being the same. But for the TBs, just buy the GV one.

Has anyone tried to fit a Grand Vitara 2009-2013 (2.4L) throttle body into a Kizashi? I cant find one locally to make the test but they just look almost identical.
