Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

Earlier versions of the Mazda 6 (the 626 of the '80s and '90s) were hurt in sales by the same size issue Kizashi had. The Mazda was a bit smaller than its contemporaries from Toyota and Honda, which had been gradually Americanizing the dimensions as the market in the U.S. grew. In size and feel, the...

Looks great. Upload a photo of the interior please. I'm so demanding. Oh OK http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/firefly_6/photo25_zps6b2834f3.jpg http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/firefly_6/photo28_zpsffc10344.jpg http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/firefly_6/photo26_zps9f19121e...

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

If you like the Fusion you'll probably like the 6 better. The only thing the Fusion is better at is off-the-line acceleration.
I have not driven the AWD Fusion, but that might be worth a try for you.

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

I'm eager to know how the 6 handles compared to the Kizashi. The 6 has always had the reputation for being best-in-class, but the Kizashi was known among enthusiasts and auto journalists as the car that came out of nowhere and ranked right up there in handling. The AWD in the Kizashi then gave it t...

Re: Good Bye, Kizashi. It's been fun.

I returned the Kizashi with about 29,000 miles.
Mazda6 is the gas engine (no diesel yet in he U.S.) I do not have the i-Eloop system.
Not a rocket, but fuel economy so far is around 10% better than the Kizashi.

Good Bye, Kizashi. It's been fun.

My 39 months are up, lease expired, moving on to a Mazda6. I have leased several cars, and by the end of the term the car and I are ready to move on, but this one is tough. The seats are still firm and smooth, the carpeting looks like it did on day one. The paint is just as glossy. Taking it to drop...

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

It so happens I picked up a 2015 Mazda6 to replace my Kizashi, which has an expiring lease. I had leased the Kiz in early 2011 when things were still looking hopeful for Suzuki in the U.S. so while I got a good deal, it was not as good as deals would get...Mazda is struggling to get sales going on t...

Anybody have the HD Radio module?

The Kenwood KTC-HR300 tuner for the Nav head unit. I invested in one - even though I lease - because I want to get the most out of any sound system if reasonable. The HD FM stations sound much better than standard, and AM is like night and day. I'll be returning the car soon, and removing the module...

Re: What if you were to lose your Kizashi?

Closest replacement for me would be an Acura TL or a TSX not for its looks but the interior finish quality. I like a lot of cars but get turned off comparing their interiors to the Kiz. It would be nice to be going back to a more conventional 5 or 6 speed trans tho. I haven't come across a car that...
