Hose being sawed by engine cover

I have a bit of an unexpected problem under the hood that I noticed not so long ago and finally managed to take pictures of. Basically, it looks like the engine cover (the plastic with "Suzuki" on it) is slowly sawing its way through the hose (AC?) that runs right next to it. I'm not sure why, but at least in my Kizashi this hose runs so close to the engine cover that they're touching each other, and considering how much the Kizashi's engine vibrates and shakes while running, I'm guessing all that movement of the engine is the reason why the cover has been making its way through the hose.
I'm guessing I should replace the hose before it gets completely cut through? But if I do, how do I prevent it from happening again? Bend the hose away somehow? And has anyone else had this problem?
See pics below:

Huh... No, no work done recently...although the dealer did replace the alternator pulley some 20,000 miles ago and now I'm wondering whether they may have bent it then (it is sort of in that general vicinity). Then again, as far as I can remember it's always been that close to the engine cover, although I've only just recently noticed it being chewed away by the engine cover.
I suppose it's a simple enough fix...I can probably just bend it away. Just wanted to post with this though in case anyone else encountered/encounters this problem. Should I bother replacing the hose though?

It looks like the protective sleeve is torn but the hose itself isn't too damaged. I wouldn't bother replacing it until it becomes a problem. Keep an eye on it
Edit: assuming you bent the hose back first

Cut a notch in the plastic engine cover. It's only plastic and no one will see it unless you drive around with no hood. Even then...

Better yet, wrap around another piece of scrap rubber hose and zip tie it to to protected...

Weird. That hose should be nowhere near the cover. This is why other people working on cars suck!
That's a high pressure hose assembly. It shouldn't have been bent in the first place. I think the best solution is Juan's--just zip tie another piece of insulating rubber/plastic to that area and keep an eye on it. And show this issue to the people that did the work on the car, if you ever go back there (I wouldn't).

To be honest, I vaguely remember the hose being like that from the factory. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest, because my Kizashi had a couple of other assembly imperfections that I've noticed.
Anyway, I actually ended up just bending the hose away from the engine cover. I grabbed the metal section of it that is between the mounting bracket closer to the windshield and the bend that is closest to the engine cover, and with two hands bent it slightly, just enough that the rubber section of the hose is no longer touching the plastic engine cover. It seems to be holding. I checked again the other day and the hose is still staying clear of the engine cover, so looks like the problem is solved
