I own a 2011 Kizashi. I have a Samsung MP3 player that should be compatible so I went to the electronics store and they suggested the audio cable which would allow my music to play through the speakers. Wrong, nothing works. Any suggestions?

The USB port in the Kizashi is only compatible with Apple devices, and devices with a certain file system format (FAT32, IIRC). And example of an incompatible device would be most Android phones, because their file system isn't in a conventional FAT32 folder layout that's fairly easy to traverse. Your samsung may have a similar issue to Android phones.
General consensus on the forum is to save yourself the hassle and just dump all your music on a USB flash drive.

If you're experiencing compatibility issues with your Samsung phone, it may be due to the file system format or device protocol. It's recommended to check your phone's file system format and consult the vehicle's manual or contact the manufacturer to verify compatibility with your specific Samsung model.
