Greetings everyone! I apologize in advance if this has been covered before. I've noticed that when I push the AC switch on my dash, the air does not get any colder than when the AC is off. The compressor does come on and I can see that my RPMs go up by about 200 while idling. There seems to be plenty of pressure in the AC lines so I'm kind of stumped on what the next course of action is. As long as it's nothing major I would very much like to fix this myself

What you should check is there is a single wire going to the ac magnet clutch on the front of the compressor see if that is getting a positive 12 volts when you command ac and the idle goes up and the fans kick on. This clutch winding may be open. Probably cheapest to replace whole compressor with used one in this case.
