Here's my situation - I have about 50G of MP3s on my ipod, which I would like to easily access on my Kizashi's stereo (stock, not the Rockford Fosgate). I have hundreds of artists in my collection. I've plugged the ipod in to the stereo and all is well - I can browse my entire collection. But there doesn't seem to be any way to quickly go to a specific artist - I can scroll through them starting at the beginning, but there doesn't seem to be a way to go directly to artists beginning with the letter 'G' for example.
The only work around seems to be to create playlists for each letter of the alphabet (time consuming!). Or am I missing something? I've looked through the manual and can't find a good way to do what I want. Suggestions?

Browsing MP3's on ipod...
Yup this is a big bummer. It's the same on the RF system. That's why I tend to use it through blutooth. I know this isn't an option for you but yeah.
I use my iPhone through blutooth and use the voice control to select certain artists and songs. It's great

That's an interesting solution for the iphone though. Good reply.
I think I just have to grin and bear it. It's a shame, my VW had a phatnoise system. It was a bit buggy, but you could navigate better.
