front door welcome light problem

for 2 months passenger door footlight(welcome light) stopped working I checked the bulb and 12V was present but no ground I checked the wiring circuit shown a fancy ground side switch mechanism to control the bulb by BCM so I could not use simple ground from the door body that's a bummer. after inspection, I found out there was crusty on the door main connector as shown in pics. somehow water passed from the wiring cover and messed up the connector 1 pin is broken (Black with Green) I couldn't de-pin the connector so I did not risk it. disconnect the wire from both sides and bypass the connector. and put everything back together it worked.
