2012 Kizashi SLS

When in drive gear selection no shift problems and up shifting with paddle shifter is fine, but paddle down shift will not response. Anyone see this :?:

That sounds as if the button itself is not working. Disconnect every connector at the base of the steering column and reconnect them. Sometimes problems like this are just poor electrical connections.
