Burning smell

Hello guys, about a year ago i purchased a 2011 suzuki kizashi off copart, the car came from New Hampshire with lost of rust among other things that needed to be fixed but regardless i still love the car. I stumble upon this forum recently and i thought to myself what better place to ask a question if not here right!?

Long story short recently i went out for a drive to pick up some food and i started noticing a burning smell coming from the vents of the car. At first i thought maybe it was because my A/C recirc was turned to fresh air so i just disregarded it. But last week i drove the car to VA from NC and after about 20-30 mins of driving i noticed the same smell and it kept on for the entire drive, on the way back it was the same thing. It almost smells like burning clutch but my clutch is not slipping even when going up a hill on like 4th gear and going fairly slow i can't get it to show any signs of a bad clutch. The smell regularly starts after i am driving for long periods of time going about 70-85 MPH.

Has anyone here encountered something similar to this? Thanks in advance

The most likely cause has been oil leak from valve cover gasket getting hard . The oil pools at the exhaust manifold to head

That's one of the first things i thought of, but there are no oil leaks present around the valve cover. Will double check though. Thank you!
