Tranny questions

I got my cvt awd transmission replaced with a unit that has 40k miles from an unknown source. Highly questioned the poeple who did it, but it was either that or no longer drive my kizashi.

But now its 'shifting' weird, when i accelerate it goes up to 2k rpm then dipps down to 1k to the point where my engine shakes and it stops accelerating. Or when i go up a hill it dips down to 1.25k rpm and loses all its steam, and i have to literally floor it to get to higher rpm so i can climb. Plus when i let off the pedal i can feel the car jiggle a bit

So im wondering if the cvt is the issue, or if that is something thats wrong with the tcm or something else.

Also i should mention my gas mileage has gone down like 4 mpg

would it be possible that there is a code, even though the check engine light isnt on? because i have no dash indication of abnormal behavior

There could be trouble codes and I don't want to overlook that . Fluid level / condition of and trouble codes if any are where we should start from.

Hi i am also having the problem with the car vibration and power. When i put in reverse the car shakes very badly and when i put it in drive it shakes until it takes speed of 10/20k kms. Is it the transmission problem or is it something quick fix.
Info
Suzuki kizashi 2012 automatic 285ks on odometer.
Just replaed all the engine mounts and the Tyres brand new too. Balanceing and alignment wa recently done while tyre change. Can i still drive in this condition for a while ??

If the vibration that you are describing is only happening as the wheels rotate the cause is almost for sure an internal failure of the transmission. If the vibration is there after just starting the engine and dropping into gear with foot on the brake, then look exhaust binding or incorrect alignment of mounts. Where are you calling home?
