Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Which makes me think that I should change cars after it's been fixed however I will definitely loose money because of the accident.

I stayed with Suzuki because it was reliable.

But I got hit by a full size SUV which barely got a scratch on it so may my next vehicle will be an SUV.
Keep us updated on the repairs. Hopefully icbc doesn't balls it up

Got my Kizashi back today. $8900 worth of repairs, almost half the price of the car. I may sell it next year and look at something else. But my Rockford sure does beat a Stock sound system in my loaner Hyundai Elantra.

Be sure to look into dimished value because when you go to sell the car, it will be worth less due to the accident.

The Finance forum over at FatWallet has a good discussion about DV claims. Do a search over there and give it a read.

I finally got my car back to the tune of 9,750. Went to the shop 1/16 and just got i back. The rear spoiler they could not replace because it is on back-order, so the insurance company will pay the difference. The old one they left on has a small crack at the base. I will probably just take the money for it. Anyone know how much a rear spoiler goes for?

Obviously way more than it should. Call a Suzuki dealer to get a cost. For nearly 10 grand and nearly 2 months, the shop should have sourced a salvaged spoiler if they couldn't get a new one to completely refinish your car to its previous condition. That's ridiculous.

Eh, They'll fix that one.

Bummer though. By this forum's standards you're my neighbor. I live up in East Grand Forks.

Ouch! That will be costly. Look for around the 10,000 dollar range. I will be interested in what your final quote will be. God Bless.
