Quik Wax is for supplementing the actual wax after you wash your car. I was skeptical about it until I tried it. I actually really like the results and the car looks much better than with just the wash, even with a good amount of actual wax.
Overall, I've had very good experiences with Meguiar's products so they are my go-to brand for automotive cleaning and detailing. I also recommend their Deep Crystal Car Wash.
I've always looked at quik detailer as a 'touch-up' product. And the quik wax seems to take that one step further making touch-ups a little less frequent when on top of a good coat of wax.
