Yeah, I can see that. I find it a bit of a hassle on my cars that require a custom wrench on all the lugs.bootymac wrote:Just personal preference. I find them a hassle to deal with and wheel theft isn't a real issue around hereSamirD wrote: Why did you take off the locks? Did you not like them?
What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
Now I really want to know more about the OEM filter!SamirD wrote:Possibly, but there was definitely a difference in design between the Suzuki and Mobil 1 filters.
The quieter startup could be from cleaner oil, but the noise was there even with only 2k on the oil. I'm just happy that it buzzes more smoothly now.

Just finished 3 days trip to Canon Beach, Oregon and Seattle, WA. About 1,500 kms trip and feel very satisfy and enjoyable with the riding. The riding control is excellent, the road noise from the tires is a bit loud.
Spring has arrived, I have changed back to all seasons tires today.

Awesome! I love the drive down to Oregon coast. I can't wait to take the Kizashi down there.honsonwong wrote:Just finished 3 days trip to Canon Beach, Oregon and Seattle, WA. Yes, the season. LOL
People thought that in MKE too after this weekend, and then WHAM! Snow covered roads Monday night and Tuesday morning. We left late to avoid all the traffic aka accidents.honsonwong wrote:Spring has arrived, I have changed back to all seasons tires today.

For a second I was confused and started thinking RRM started making seasons.honsonwong wrote:Yes, the season. LOLOh, you meant spring the season![]()

So I think the OEM 16510-61A31 filter is made by Tokyo Roki, who makes a lot of the factory fitted filters for Suzuki (including the air filter). Cross referencing the Suzuki part number brings up Tokyo Roki LFS708.bootymac wrote:Now I really want to know more about the OEM filter!SamirD wrote:Possibly, but there was definitely a difference in design between the Suzuki and Mobil 1 filters.

Here's a Tokyo Roki 15208AA100 (for Subarus) cut apart. It appears to have a nitrile gasket and ADBV and a leaf spring bypass valve
