The TPMS system adds $240--300 American to a set of Tire Rack wheels.

With the TPMS disabled, all American-market vehicles diasble their VSC/TCS systems; stupid lawmakers.

Coming up on its third anniversary, December 23rd.
I should give it (at least) an oil change soon.........

Snow and cold here; tires working great, heat blowing hot, rocks still bouncing off the windshield.

But the new WRX has an auto-no-left-leg shifter, so nothing is certain now :?

Beard still attached.

Yes, but it's a CVT now. Subaru promises that it's a "performance CVT" but performance and CVT are considered to be mutually exclusive to most car enthusiasts. We'll have to see and read the reviews. Also, there is already some disgruntled voices over the fact that the new WRX will not be offered in a wagon. Only sedan.
I'm thrilled that they finally put in a 6 speed manual instead of the 5 speed.
Regardless, the new Rex is a sweet car and if I was to lose or unload my Kizashi, I'd be eyeing the new WRX.

I want a sedan.
I want to not shift.
I want to go fast, with at least the potential for reasonable fuel economy.

It must be AWD.

I recently priced this and it's only 188 now since they use aftermarket sensors.

Wait, they made a turbo back in 1991? I almost bought a non-turbo Legacy 2.5 Limited in 1995. :D Some day I will own a Subie!

I just finished reading all about the 1991 Legacy. What an awesome car! Right up there with the VR4 for my favorite classic Japanese 4 door turbo. 8-)

The VR4 was faster; the Subaru was nicer.

I bought the nicer car.
