144,050 miles at the moment.
Had the oil and front case serviced on 10/28 at 141,902 miles; they couldn't (easily?) get the cap off the rear diff to change its fluid. So they didn't.
I'm assuming the tech was a mutt.
Had another couple flats, too......
But gas mileage has exceeded 33 MPG for a couple of recent tanks, and the last, which included significant 'time at speed', returned just over 27 MPG.
All good.
I'm still going to test the new WRX w/CVT, maybe tonight, for sure by tomorrow (wife told me "don't buy a new car that costs more to run than the Kizashi").
Mirrors still attached.

"You're not only getting a Kizashi, you're getting a legend".
Interesting to me to be thought of that way.
I mean, I'm just enjoying my car

Consistently exceeded 100MPH both Saturday morning and this very morning making my way to work; it's 35 miles and Saturday I made it in 33 minutes.
And I stopped on the way to buy smokes......
Keep us posted on what you think of the WRX. That's the car I'd most want to replace my Kizashi with if I was to. However, I'm planning to keep my Kizashi a long time and it's only got 34,000 miles or so.

First impression: Fast, real fast (bounced off the rev limiter in 1st AND 2nd without malicious intent; oops).
And inside: Cheap, real cheap (makes our Civic look like a Bentley in comparison).
Hard to stomach after the up-level cabin in the Kizashi........but it's SO fast I gotta try it again (to see if I can stomach its low-rent interior).
I mean, after all, I spend some time inside, ay?

I've heard about the atrocious interior of Subarus, but is it really that bad? I've owned two in the past and while they were nothing fancy, they held up well. Plus, don't they offer the Limited with a nicer interior? However, I'd have to agree that it would be a step down from the Kizashi's interior.WESHOOT2 wrote:First impression: Fast, real fast (bounced off the rev limiter in 1st AND 2nd without malicious intent; oops).

The pictures posted a couple of pages back made the interior look really cheap- if it looks that bad in photos taken by Subaru to promote the vehicle..... then in the flesh you're probably going to be disappointed. I saw another one driving around the other day, the exterior looks okay.

If they have a forester XT on the lot you should try that out.
I have a feeling our driving styles are similar and I think the XT touring is probably about on par with the kizashi.
More space and you'll attract less attention from the law(I know that isn't really a problem for you but still).
