I didn't even know the car had this feature, came to a stop on a hill today and when it was time to go, the car didn't shift backward as usual....it was grounded like a tank until I pushed on the gas pedal.

while this is becoming more common in cars today, not that many of them do it "automatically". In a 2010 Subaru Legacy, the feature is driver activated via a button to the left of the steering wheel.

All CVT models?

mine is a CVT.

I read something about it in the manual after the surprise on the road...I'm not sure if they specified it to CVT models.

I gotta try this Hill feature thing

As long as we're finding things out on the Kizashi..I found out the Mode button on the steering wheel turns the radio on too....nice to find...by Accident
