Hey fellas, I recently bought my 2013 Kizashi SE and, am looking to mod it out a little bit body kits hood scoop halo lights and possibly a few other pieces once i get all that. My main question is, Can a 2012 Kizashi aftermarket part fit a 2013 kizashi? if this is the case does anyone have a good site i can order the parts off of?

Thanks ahead of time for all the useful info,

Phillip Hale, KS

Hey,

Welcome.

The MY2013 should be very similar to the MY2012 so all parts should be compatible in terms of trimming and modifications. I believe the differences were only in sound system and some packaging for the different model trims, i.e. GTS vs. SLS.

There is only one company that seems to be offering a range of Kizashi-specific mod parts.
That's RRM. Here's their site and the parts they offer.

Welcome! Unfortunately when it comes to after market parts, Kizashi has very limited selections. You can try googling "Kizashi body kit". I know there 2 types of hoop scoop out there but can't remember on top of my head.
Good luck on your hunt!!

Yes, it can be changed, but it requires a painstaking task of removing the dash, radio, HVAC, etc. and then removing the LEDs behind the buttons. You then have to get the LEDs of the color(s) you want and then solder them in the place where the old red one was.

It's been done before by some guy with his Mazda3. He swapped out the OEM orange LEDs to put in blue and white LEDs. The process I described above is how he did it.

I personally think it's way too much trouble, but if you have the time and patience, more power to you. I personally can't see blue lights at night well so it would not be something I would do. OEM red works fine for me.
