Regardless, I did some research on the best lube and found that Super Lube is most recommended for the reasons you stated. I live really close to a Home Depot so I'll pick it up there. I just really hope this is the cause of the noise.
I think nearly all aftermarket sway bars use poly bushings. The RRM/Progress ones are black so they might be graphite impregnated?

From Progress:
Our Sport-tuned Sway Bars replace skinny OEM bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter alloy steel bars and polyurethane bushigs.

Update: I gave my sway bar bushings a much needed lubing. See here: http://www.kizashiclub.com/forum/viewto ... 396#p36396

I think there's a setting for digital speedometer on the dash display.

I didn't see anything in the owner's manual about that feature. It would be convenient though. Something to look at besides the "instant mpg" read out which is always sad.

As for the cramped gauges, I thought the US mph was bad enough but the km/h...

Even that readout is a little optimistic with 60mpg max... a figure you'll never see unless coasting or going downhill. Would be better to have 0-40 mpg (broken down by 10s) so you can actually see where you stand in mpg. Mine is usually camped near the 20mpg line but cant really tell since there in no 30 line

Here is how you enable it:

Press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.

As for instantaneous mpg, you can reset your average mpg display and it show you instantaneous. You just have to keep resetting it.

 My bad

Looked last night and didn't find it, I really thought it was there. Maybe it was that Jetta I had as a loaner a few months back.
