Traded in my kiz today for a 2016 awd Ford Fusion. Really like the new car but will miss the Kizzy. Had 76k on it and no issues the entire time I owned it. Decided to cut my losses before 100k and get into something new. Hope the Ford will stay reliable. I have factory roof rails and ski rack if anyone is interested.

Must be trade in season. Enjoy your new ride though, congrats.
How much are you asking for the roof rails? If they're free I'd gladly pay for the shipping lol

This is so sad. Mine is going today, and I am gutted.

Decided to add on to this thread-sorry to hi-jack but the title was fitting.
Traded kizashi after 4.5 years with 161,000 miles on it for a white Certified 2015 VW Golf GTI DSG-Autobahn /light package, with 10,500 miles. It does NOT have the performance package, drivers assist package, or the adaptive damping suspension. (my first brand new car was a 1985 White GTI-so this is sort of a mid-life deal) Got next to nothing (2500) for the kizashi-would have liked to keep it but decided to let it go.
I really do miss the kizashi (2010 SLS-CVT). (Biggest issues I had were the paint and the subwoofer) The VW has always gotten decent reviews for interior fit/finish and I would stack the finish of the kizashi right up against it. If the kizashi had a traditional automatic , or a DSG like the VW, I would have looked for another. I 'm realizing now that I was not inspired to drive the kizashi as "sporting" as I drive the VW. The SLS in 2010, despite not having the "sport" suspension was sprung with a nice balance (not too mushy-not to firm). The VW is a bit more agressively sprung, also has a bit more power (205hp,258 torque)but it is the transmission which I'm noticing as a big factor. That's why I'm sure folks say that the standard shift Kizashi is a whole different animal.
I will still visit to read about the thrashing of weshoots second poor kizashi
Drive it like you stole it

Looks like a fun car! I'd invest in an extended warranty for sure though.

How much did you pay for the GTI?

Looks like the Kizashi served you well to 160,000 miles. Congrats on the GTI. I think these Mk.VIIs are sweet.
