BFG Comp 2 A/S tested better than the General G Max tires here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/tes ... sktop=true

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 are best in class but have a price to match.

However, a UHP might not be worthwhile for you. Maybe a GT tire is better for your needs? A GT tire will likely last longer too

Thanks for the link bootyman, but the G-Max has better reviews in general... hard to say I guess. Like you said, a GT would be better for my needs.

I agree Grand Touring or even Standard Touring tires will be quieter and should last longer. I went with Standard Touring myself in the quest for a quiet ride. My Michelin Defenders are now giving me about 2.2 MPG over the Dunlops and are much quieter too. The user comments on the Defenders are not good but so far I have no complaints. I take user comments with a grain of salt. After my experience with the Hankook 727's which the user comments in TireRack gave high marks and praises I was extremely disappointed.

To the comment before, I was trying to fix my camber issue not add negative camber. I was looking to stand the wheel more straight to further prevent tire wear. However, going a different route now. 10" wide wheels on the rear with 225/45/18's Goodyear Efficient Grip with a nice strech
