Why do they do that?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I was at the doctor's office last week. Early appointment, like 7:40. Parked all the way in the back of the lot. Lots and lots of spaces available. And look what this jerk does? Not even centered in her own space. Why do they do that? I'd never do it, but my keys almost jumped out of my pocket by themselves to do you-know-what. :x

That pisses me off too. I deliberately park away from people to keep my Kizashi nice and dent-free. It's especially important with this car because the paint on dark colored ones chips really easily. I've had a few door dings removed so car. One was pretty bad and took some paint off. I was really really pissed off.
I'm currently in the process of having an insurance claim reviewed against someone who damaged my car while it was parked. They gouged the rear bumper quite badly while it was parked in an underground garage. Given I am 100% sure who is at fault and the incident was caught on surveillance footage, I went after her insurance given she refused to take any responsibility. I filed a police report for damaged property and everything. Not letting this one go because it's incontrovertible that she damaged my car yet she just won't admit it. My bumper was in pristine condition so I'm making sure it's returned to that state.

I park in the same spot every day (next to a curb) and often a woman I work with parks next to me. She has one of those "you can't spit without hitting one" Hyundai Elantras. Except she parks a little too close for my liking even though there's plenty of room. So today I asked her that when she parks next to me if she could give me a little more room. I said, "That way if I have to get something from that side of my car, I won't accidently hit your car with my door and damage it." She then nicely asked me if I needed her to move it over. I declined. I just hope she doesn't ding my door on her way out today!. Sometimes is all in the way you ask it.

I had a woman park so close to my car that I could not get in the drivers door. She did this because she did not want to step into a puddle in her spot. I was fuming. I could have entered thru the passenger door and crawled into the drivers seat, but , did I say I was fuming! It was at a bank so I waited until she came back to her car and proceeded to tell her what I thought of inconsiderate, self serving people that do not want to get their shoes wet. I must have put on quite a show because as she sulked into her car I got a six person standing ovation.

Bravo & well done redmed. Regarding earlier posts: I hope no-one in a Kizashi keys someone else's vehicle...no matter how stupid the other person is. Yes, there's a lot of stupid people/drivers on the road but keying their cars (while sending them a message) isn't the right approach! Tell them what you think of their parking skills in person (like redmed did) if "possible" or utilize another way to get the point across (the middle finger works pretty good) ...just don't commit a criminal offense by damaging their car/personal property.

My experience: I currently own 2 BMWs in addition to my beloved Kizashi but I once had a jealous person key a new BMW (a red 318is...entry level car) I purchased back in 1992 which was parked 'in left field' at a grocery store with no other vehicle parked within 100 ft. of it. BMW buffed/painted/fixed it for FREE after that incident...which was outstanding customer service IMHO. Guess what I'm saying is...I think people who key cars (for whatever reason) are the lowest form of humanity on this planet and I don't believe a Kizashi owner would stoop that low...although I know we've all wanted to do so at some point in our past! :)

Though I am not a Kizzy owner (hell, right now i don't have ANY car), I gotta agree with Bmw&Kzzyownr.
