Roof Rack Question
I am looking for a fixed point crossbars so i can attach my ski rack to it. Its impossible to get a Suzuki Kizashi brand one, and a descent brand universal ones run upwards of $150 per bar. Stupid question but some fixed point crossbars (such as subaru) are the same dimensions as my Kizashi and i was wondering if they could be interchanged? Thanks for the help!
I'm not certain but I don't think the crossbars for the Kizashi are custom to the vehicle. I think Suzuki simply sold Yakima Whispbars that were the correct size for the Kizashi as a Suzuki accessory for the Kizashi. If the dimensions are the same and the mounting points are too, then a Subaru crossbar should fit the Kizashi. Just make sure the crossbars are compatible with the mounting points on the Kizashi which are built into the car.
