Hi and welcome!
I have personally modified all of my interior lights to LEDs in my Kizashi. LEDs will work fine for these bulbs.
As for CANBUS, I believe the Kizashi only employs the system for turn signal bulbs. Using LEDs for turn signals will result in hyper-flash unless using a CANBUS bulb. This is actually a reason only my turn signal bulbs are original filament type. You can modify all other bulbs to LED or HID without CANBUS warnings.

Thanks for the welcome and the hope of changing my interior lights can you tell me the brand you have had success with and do you have hyper flash on the interior and do they dim when closing the door

So the LED bulbs for the interior work just like the original incandescent ones. The hyper-flash is not present because there is no CANBUS for these kinds of lights in this car.
As for brands, most of mine are from reputable Japanese brands I bought close to ten years ago when I was visiting Japan. They include PIAA and IPF. However, I have also used some Morimoto bulbs I got online and some cheap no-brand Chinese ones for the door puddle lights. All of the Japanese ones and Morimoto bulbs (from theretrofitsource.com) have worked flawlessly. Some of the cheap Chinese ones have crapped out. You will likely be fine with Sylvania LED bulbs you can easily find in stores and online.
Here's my post on the LEDs and the light effect:
