starter going bad?

last night there was a slight pause and clicking sound before it cranked and started just fine. it did the same thing this morning starting it. I drove it to work and shut it off for a few minutes then started it again and it started up normal with no pause and clicking. battery is two years old, terminals look fine, alternator is 3 years old. I can't find anything information online where the starter is located or how difficult it into change out. any help??
