Since my TPMS is disabled, the system precludes viewing the MPG screen.
I check my mileage with the miles-driven/gallons-used method; the trip meters still work.

Drop your speed to 65~70 and you will easily see low to mid 30's. My 6 speed GTS got an average of 34 MPG on a steady drive down to Richmond, VA and back. Given you have an S with smaller wheels, you probably could do even better.golftango wrote:I average 80 mph and see a constant 27, or greater, mpg.

No shit.
Consider, if you will.....
...the serendipitous nature of this exact moment in car-life.
But enough nattering, let's chat about the Kizashi; mine, specifically.
I still have done nothing to it service-wise. No belts, hoses, battery (except in one fob).
No repairs.
And this becomes even more meaningful when the way I drive it is factored in. I pound the crap out of it.
Yet it still suspends and dampens wheel inputs, still steers razor-sharp, still moves rapidly forward when well-prodded, and still gave me 26.5 MPG on my last tank (Shell premium), even though 'floored' is its common prod.
Needs brakes again; BFD. Since I live and drive in 'elevation' (again: I drive like a dangerous idiot. I even scare myself. Often.), it's more than just reasonable life.
Oh, and now that I'm getting comfortable with it, it slides marvelously!
So I figured I'd share my literal joy with my ownership experience so far; my Kizashi, at this point, owes me nothing.
brain damage still present

To say, someday, that you will completely miss this car will be an enormous understatement.
