Why they call a Hyundai "Premium", especially the Transmission Troubled Sonata baffles me. But Kizashi takes tops in Mid-Size the most coveted segment in USA.

I have no idea what makes a Sonata premium. Slightly larger in dimensions maybe? Everything I have read or heard seems to indicate that the Kizashi is higher quality in materials and gives a more "premium" impression and driving experience.

Maybe they're referring to its marketing campaign?

That's funny..my 86 year old mother got inthe car for the first time the other day and when I closed the door for her her first comment was "wow, that closed really nice. Sounded like it's really well made."

I'm not surprised at the kizzy's ranking. But the Sonata does not belong on the list at all. I'll give hyundia credit form making a really cheap car into a decent cheap car, but that's all it is. Oh yeah, and UGLY! LOL

Wow, someone else actually said what I have all along been thinking. Ugly, hideous! But I guess some people like that big chrome fake Mercedes look. I would not go anywhere near it with any cash. Now, it is just right for Condummer Reports!
