Stereo Installation
I purchased my Kizashi without any audio system. I want to install my own system. I have removed the AC control panel, but am having trouble removing the upper panel, where the audio unit will go. Also, I don't see the wiring harness that should provide me access to power, ground, and the speaker wiring. Anyone have any information regarding this?
Yeah, I have the Scosche harness. It gets wired to my stereo unit and has a male plug that mates with the female receptacle in the car. It was the female receptacle that I couldn't locate. In the space where a double din stereo unit can go, I had a plastic pocket and a blank panel. It turned out that the car's receptacle was connected to the back of the pocket. I have since installed my stereo unit, and it is working great.

The upper panel is held by 2 screws on each corner. Wish I could take a pic but u can't miss it. Use a flashlight. U might need a extended Phillips screwdriver. Then once those 2 screws are out you pop it out like u did the AC panel
