Hi everyone, I am a new Kizashi owner and forum member. FYI, i have '11 SE Silver with 30K on the odo :D .
I have a couple questions, hoping you guys can help.
1- Does anyone use the oil drain plug valve like Fumoto F106N (http://www.qwikvalve.com/) ? If so, how do you like it?
2- I am thinking about my next 2 oil change, i will mix 50% Mobile One + 50% conventional, before switching to Mobile One completely. Any advice? Thanks.
3- I try to download the Service manual from the Kizashi service manual thread. however, all the link are dead. Could anyone please re-upload, or send me a copy? Thanks a bunch :D

2. Do not mix oils. At 30K you are fine to just switch to synthetic.
3. ...Planned

Ooops! I do have the 2011 service manual. I originally purchased it and then was able to copy the individual sections as PDF's. It is about 45MB so it would have to be downloaded from a link, but I don't have that ability. Let me know if you have another way of uploading it.

I got the service manual... thanks a bunch Moto and nytq. The 2010 Owner Man is exactly the same as my 2011. I will try the Fumoto oil drain valve on my next oil change and report back (which could be a few months). Thanks a lot guys :)

I set up a Box account.

Anyone needing the 2011 service manual can get it here:

I used a Fumoto in the Saab92x I traded for the Kizashi. Worked great. I haven't put one in the SLS yet.

Mixing oils is fine. You'll want to use the same weight (5W-30 for example.) Manufactures do make "semi"-synthetic blends to do this job for you. Those are roughly 1/3 synth, 2/3 standard. If you're looking for Mobil the Mobil Clean 7,500 is/was a semi-synthetic. Or you might try the Mobil Super Synthetic. It's better than dino but not as good as Mobil 1. If you're looking for cost savings it's generally less than Mobil 1.

There really isn't a need to 'mix' if you're switching to Synth just go ahead and do it.

For the number of 92-xs on the road I sure run into owners a lot. My family owns three. I now own an aero. Were you a member on the 92x forum?

I posted on Saab92x.com a few years back. Not even sure what my login is anymore. I did review it for pointers on struts, mud flaps and tires.

I drove lots of cars before settling on the Kizashi for the 92x replacement. It was hard to give up the Saab.
