I am installing an Android double din in my Kizashi. The scosche molding kit I had is a justa bit too small - I noticed a similar compliant on another thread. Will the Metra kit work? If not - any other options?
Is there a way to not have to splice in to get the steering wheel controls to work? I suspect I'd need a new pin to add to the harness I have, but not sure where I can even buy just a pin (and what size).
What appears to be working for back-up cameras these days? There are quite a few to choose from and didn't know what looks the most 'stock'

Another option is to buy a universal fit camera and mount it onto the factory camera "blanking plate" that's fitted to your Kizashi.
Most cheaper cameras are CMOS, CCD cameras can be found for similar prices and tend to give better picture quality.

You can buy the factory dash trim from a dealer. The part number is listed on the forum somewhere.... It looks a lot better as the plastic texture/ colour is a perfect match and the black perspex bit from the A/C controls continues onto it.

What model head unit are you upgrading from (eg. standard Panasonic - without external amplifier, Rockford Fosgate ) and what country do you live in? It all makes a difference as the wiring looms are different.
This will help out if you've got the "bottom of the range" non amplified Panasonic head unit:

I got his - So far so good with it.
That unit's specs look excellent - Android 4.2.2 and capacitive screen. Does it have a separate microphone for the bluetooth handsfree function?

Pink -> Steering wheel remote audio switches
Pink/ Black -> Ground for steering wheel remote switches

Yes, I am using a loom adapter (Scosche). I figure I just need a few more pins to put in the right spot, but a bit of an amateur at this - not sure where I could buy the pins or if there is a better way to go.
It does have a separate microphone on the top that works good so far for voice commands and sounds like a hands free Bluetooth device on calls. Plus that is one of the device the people over at XDA developers are working on (HuiFei device).
