I wanted to take some in depth pictures but got caught in the rain so i have some pictures to show what has been done

** MAKE SURE YOU BEND YOUR DUST SHIELD ON THE BACK IT WILL RUB ON THE ROTOR**

STEP 6 GRAND FINALE
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS TIGHT AND THAT YOU HAVE A SOLID BRAKE PEDAL WITH CAR STARTED. GO FOR A SHORT SLOW WHERE THERE ARE NO KIDS IF YOUR BRAKES FAIL USE E-BRAKE TO STOP WITH CAR IN NUTREAL.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT GO TO A DEALERSHIP LIKE NISSAN WITH A POWER BLEEDER ASK TO HAVE BRAKES BLED WITH DOT4 YOU NEED TO GET RID OF THE OLD DOT3

FOLLOW THE TRD BREAK IN PROCEDURE FOR BEDDING THE PADS AND ROTORS

A few things i have noticed after is my pedal is very strong I and sensitive i had to put my seat back a bit uses less effort. when i do slow down really fast my speedometer gets confused and has a delay (kinda funny i can stop faster than the needle can read lol) other than that the car drives the same as before.

I hope this inspires others to do full custom work and new ideas!

Nice write up, thanks for the work.

What year Scion Xb? When you look up brakes for an Xb it shows three distinct groups.

still got to make 2 minor adjustments 1 is put either a flat washer or a lock washer for the bolts and get low dust pads the pads it came with are making my 2 front wheels black and look like shit.

also the spacers used were 0.550" and made of 304 stainless STEEL lol

I just found this lovely mod! Great to see you got it to almost bolt-on. It's great that the lines just bolted on--that's usually the hardest part in brake mods.

Your experience makes me wonder what Baer can come up with since I'm sure they have a Scion kit bbk available.

I think I have a slightly warped front Rotor. I am thinking on going all slotted in the front and maybe regular in the back. My question is does the Kizashi maintain it's great breaking? It is actually one of my favorite cars in the breaking department. In the future I would like to drop it a bit and put some new shocks and struts but I don't want to suffer ride quality.
