Re: Front Brakes
Mine are still OEM. I am using the RDA dimpled/ slotted rotors with QFM 4WD pads (same as the HPX compound I've been told) on my Suzuki XL-7. They've been on for the best part of a year after the previous DBA rotors warped with the same model QFM pads. They do pull up very well - it weighs about 35...

Re: Front Brakes
They're Protex brand brake discs- they might be okay, I've never heard anything about them. The pads are bottom rung Bendix. Probably not as good as the OEM Akebono and you've obviously had problems with them not performing well enough. With the two I'd be thinking you'd be downgrading, rather than...

Re: Front Brakes
Does it have to be OEM - what sort of price are they asking? You can get bits off Ebay eg http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DRILLED-SLOTTED-Suzuki-Kizashi-FR-2010-onwards-FRONT-Disc-brake-Rotors-RDA8126D-/121292138430?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c3d9327be http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Suzuki-Ki...

Front Brakes
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy a set of OEM front rotors and pads? Also what are the OEM part numbers?
The dealership is quoting an astronomical price for the set so I'm just wondering if I can get them elsewhere (has to be able to ship to Australia).
Cheers

Re: Photojournal of my Kizashi
Yes Wangara Suzuki indeed! My car was the last Prestige-spec car available in WA that was manual (or so they told me :)) Oh awesome, your original licence plate was registered just days after mine :). Yeah I can believe that it was the last manual in WA; I originally wanted a black manual but there...

Re: Popular Mechanics Pisses on Kizashi's Grave
It wasn't really a bad review, but more critical of Suzuki overall. PM didn't really write anything bad about the car, but needed something to state the obvious about Suzuki; it wasn't going to survive. Most actual auto publications praised the Kizashi including popular sites like jalopnik.com. How...

Re: Kizashi's future in Australia murky
Oh that's just BS, I find it very hard to believe that Mazda 6 uses 5.3L/100km. Besides most people (at least in Australia) aren't too concerned with fuel economy; if they were, the SUV sales would have plummeted loooong ago. Suzuki needs to advertise the hell out of Kizashi if they plan on selling ...

Re: Opening Windows & Sunroof with your key fob
... Also it'd be nice if it had "follow-me-home" option where the headlights/rears stay on for 30sec to light up the drive way so you can see to unlock your home entry door ... That should be a lot easier to implement than the sunroof. Do other vehicles that have that function basically k...
