Re: Security Code for Stock Head Unit Radio (Panasonic)

Okay thanks for deleting my mod staus again - whoever just did that. I was in the process of uploading the said file (which I saved) to the Mod area for Moto. Thanks for the chance of reading what's going on in there as well. I was in the middle of explaining a few things- it's easy to make assumpti...

Re: Child Car/ Booster Seats that Fit Well in the Kizashi

I don't know how your USA child seats work, but I've found the Kizashi seat belt buckles (being rigidly mounted) can cause problems with wide child seats. It can be very hard to access the buckle to insert the seat belt tongue and that means the seat is forced away from the central position (where i...

Re: Security Code for Stock Head Unit Radio (Panasonic)

I'll post it in the moderator section where access can be controlled. I was going to do it yesterday but didn't have the time. Correction - I won't because I've been "de moderated". Whatever. Publicly posting any security system over rides shouldn't be encouraged. In the future (if ...

So the same vehicle was used for all runs?

Re: Engine service light

That's okay Greg :) , I just wasn't sure if you thought the forum in general wasn't into to discussing faults with the Kizashi and was hiding info. I know some car enthusiasts/ forums get a bit offside if anyone brings up faults with their chosen vehicle and wasn't sure if that's what you thought. I...

Re: Security Code for Stock Head Unit Radio (Panasonic)

Guys, I've just removed the above attachment. Feel free to PM it to people, but you're compromising the security of every Kizashi owner by openly posting that info on the internet. Some people will have set up that PIN number to protect their head unit from theft. Please don't post it again or this ...

Re: Engine service light

From this forum , my vehicle seems that it is not the only one that has suffered the same problem. It was suggested even in this set of posts --so maybe a good kept secret ,just like the Hyundai perhaps. Rgds Greg I don't think anyone else on here has suffered the same problem. I think it was more ...

Could he mean the tread will wear down to the point where they're useless in snow? (But they'll still be roadworthy going by the treadwear indicators?)

Re: Avoid ethanol belnd fuel

You are also driving the manual with about 300 less pounds on it...I think if I was on the highway for a similar trip, I would probably do 30 from full to empty. I was watching a Myth Busters episode the other night where they were testing if golf ball dimples on a car would improve the aerodynamic...

Re: Engine service light

Is the loom too short from the factory, or was it not routed quite right? A Hyundai the wife owned had a similar problem- it would cut out and surge badly. The dealer couldn't find anything wrong and we drove it like that for a long time. This was pre OBDII so I couldn't scan it and the dealer kept ...
