Re: EVAP Canister Leak
It sounds like the recall work was done improperly. I strongly suggest you take the car back and have the techs check the work and parts. Like Old Tech mentioned, I not only got a new gas tank but a new gas filler neck and gas cap from the recall work.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
Hi guys. Would like to introduce myself! I am a recent graduate in texas and I own a 2010 Kizashi SLS FWD. I hail from India, the country Suzuki would never leave in its wildest dreams. I grew up with the suzuki 800, alto, and the sx4 and I always wanted a kizashi. but after a year of living in Tex...

Re: engine stalls after starting when it's been raining
I experienced this same issue after washing my engine bay a few times (without too much water and mostly on the block) and believe the culprit might be the MAF sensor. I believe the moisture is causing a malfunction. The cure is typically disconnecting the battery after the components have dried out...

Re: Fuel Economy - manual transmission
IMO, CVT or manual makes little difference when it comes to an 12-year-old car like Kizashi there are a lot of parameters that can go wrong and change fuel consumption but when it comes to comfort nothing beats AT like CVT I love it, especially in heavy traffic. In an older car, I agree. The differ...

Re: Daytime Running Light - OEM 2011 SE Model
Keep in mind the DRLs were only on US and Canadian models. It's not a global feature for the Kizashi. They also only work when the car is on and the handbrake is down when the headlights are off. Like Woodie stated, they use the high beam bulbs on reduced power through Pulsed Width Modulation. This ...

Re: Fuel Economy - manual transmission
I agree that it's likely a bot but the reality is that this forum needs more activity so it's worth the response/discussion. As for what you wrote, I would say that manuals are more likely to consistently hit the EPA estimates. My manual Kizashi has delivered expected fuel economy consistently for 1...

Re: Fuel Economy - manual transmission
transmissions often offer better fuel economy compared to automatic counterparts due to their mechanical simplicity and direct driver control over gear selection. By actively engaging gears, drivers can optimize engine performance, enhancing efficiency. This makes manuals a preferred choice for fue...

Re: Any pics with both the hood deflector and the sunroof deflec
The sunroof and hood deflector were made in Australia and I've even seen clear ones sold there as OE accessories. If you are very keen on getting them for the Kizashi, I suggest you search and buy them from Australia.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
I've seen the videos too but the technique involved using a rounded brush sideways. Basically, a new toilet brush with a cut handle shoved into a drill. I recently found a 3-pack brush drill set for very cheap. I'm going to use some of the brush heads to clean tile grout and one of them to clean the...
