Re: timing belt replacement intervals

I do all the maintenance on my cars myself. I have done nothing else - this car is very reliable. The Nissan dealer which sold Suzuki's and still service them is doing the repairs under warrantee. Very happy about this, I did not get any push back at all.

Re: Stalling out at intersections.

Well, Im going thru this right now except code POO16 came up which is the camshaft / crankshaft correlation code. After going the easy way and changing the cam and crank sensors which did nothing I ended up at the dealer because the next step is the timing chain and tensioners causing the car to be ...

Re: timing belt replacement intervals

Well, I agree with everything you guys said, however, my 2012 SLS with 85K is currently at the dealer waiting for repairs. Apparently the timing is off and the car wont run. About a month ago the car suddenly started running very rough at idle - it would not stay running and Code P0016 came up. I'm ...

Re: Kizashi OE and KYB Strut and Shock Part Numbers.

My shocks started leaking about 45 miles and the rear passenger began to clunk about 50k miles, last November I decided I had enough so I bought The parts an finally installed them last month.... the car has 52k miles now. I did not bother with a dealer claim as the car is pass the 36k mile warrantee.

Re: Kizashi OE and KYB Strut and Shock Part Numbers.

I have been driving for 3 weeks with the new kyb shocks and I'm very happy with the car handling. I see and notice no difference between the factory shocks or the aftermarket kyb. When I had the shocks side by side, they both looked and felt identical. The passenger side was blown out but the driver...

Re: Kizashi OE and KYB Strut and Shock Part Numbers.

Well, I finally got some free time to change the rear shocks in my 2012 SLS. I can see they are leaking fluid, also the constant clunking noise coming from the rear when I go over bumps was driving me crazy. I consider this an easy job for someone with some mechanical skills. Certainly a do it yours...

Re: Kizashi OE and KYB Strut and Shock Part Numbers.

I'm in the process of replacing my rear shocks with the kyb ones I got at my local Napa. I ordered the upgraded bumps at the dealer. I'm waiting for a warmer day here in the east coast ....

I'm in CT. Not far from you. I have a 2012 SLS AWD. A must in New England. Not too many of these cars around.... I love it!.
