Re: TSB on SLS audio system

Sorry I took so long to check back in. I looked on the work order, but I don't see a TSB number listed for replacing the amplifier. The work was done about a month ago, and it has completely fixed the problem. For those of you who are questioning whether it occurs on models other than the SLS, I don...

Re: Long-term Test @ Inside Line

This car is for guys in their late 20's, to mid 40's..thats it...and you have to be a "Car Guy" to really appreciate the car for what it is...a Truly good Sport Sedan. AHEM - I'm not a guy. I understand your point that Suzuki is probably marketing this car to that demographic, but... When...

Re: TSB on SLS audio system

Aragon, That's exactly what mine was doing. I would set it at the volume I wanted, then as I was driving down the road, it would get either much louder, or much quieter. I thought it was related to hitting a bump in the road, so my first thought was a simple loose connection somewhere, but it kept h...

TSB on SLS audio system

Hi Gang, I've got a gremlin in my audio system. Thought it was the bass speaker in the trunk (we call it the kicker) because we first noticed it with the "punch bass" feature cranked-up. One of the speakers was cutting in and out. We figured it was just a simple loose connection somewhere....

Re: First 500 miles - first impressions...

Thanks for the tip! I'm still getting to know all the features. I was really scratching my head thinking, "Why didn't they include that?" Glad to know I have that feature. It took us (myself and my 14-year old daughter) a few minutes to figure out how to control the iPod with the stereo bu...

Re: Brought my SLS home today!

Forgot to add that I don't really like the sedan version of the Civic, and the coupe version is just hard to get in and out of. The Kizashi, although a sedan, has great style.

First 500 miles - first impressions...

Hi Everyone, I've now put a bit over 500 miles on my 6-speed, front wheel drive SLS, so I thought I'd post my impressions. Dealer filled my car up with 190 miles on it (I put most of them on when I took it for an overnight test drive), so I'm not sure what octane they put in, and I don't think they ...

Re: Brought my SLS home today!

When I started looking for a new car, I was definitely leaning toward a Honda Civic EX coupe. I've had great experience with the Honda I still own (a '98 CR-V EX with 188K on it and only the things you would expect to replace with a vehicle that old), and I felt alot of brand loyalty to Honda becaus...

Brought my SLS home today!

Tried to upload a picture, but it says the file is too big. Anyway, I got the Platinum SLS in a 6-speed (of course!).

Already thinking about getting a vanity plate, but I have to wait for the sticker to come first.
