Kizashi hood, wheels, sway bar
I have a blizzard pearl hood that came off of my SLS kizashi, 4 wheels off of the SLS, and also the road race rear sway bar that was never mounted. The hood is perfect, no rock chips or anything. The wheels are dipped black. However, two wheels are cracked beyond repair. The other two are good thoug...

Re: Kizashi Casualty
I live in a college town filled with horrible drivers (go figure). The first month I had my car, some girl smashed the entire driver side door and some of the front fender. Crushed the door. She left a note though, with her moms phone number and the insurance agency's number. It took her an entire m...

Re: FYI: RRM rear sway bar on sale for $199
I just ordered mine today. I called before I ordered to make sure it was still available. They said of the 5 they had left, they were shipping out 3 today. I got number 4! Also, I asked about the strut tower brace and they said they were still available on an order basis - you order it and they'll m...

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers
Mine work great! My favorite is when Im driving along and splash through a giant puddle and before I can reach for the stalk to turn the wipers on, Kiz is already wiping it off. The only time I've noticed it being not-so-great is in snow, it doesnt see to get it quite right.

Re: Road Race Intake - problem
It was rubbing on the engine/transmission mount. I knew that would either be touching or pretty close to it, but I guess I underestimated just how hot it would get. I hope mine doesn't follow the same timeline! Although the weld job on it and way the heat shield is positioned would make me agree tha...

Road Race Intake - problem
[imgmeltedintake.jpg][/img] In March I purchased Road Race's ram air intake. So far, I love the intake, totally worth it, would buy again - except for one small detail I discovered today. I took my intake off to clean it, and discovered part of it had been melted. Not a total failure or anything clo...

Re: strange odor, and how to eliminate it
They have scent disks at most auto parts stores/sections - always get the fresh linen one and keep it under my seat. Always keeps the car smelling good.

Re: 114 days
I've been hugely impressed with the Kizashi's brakes. On the occasional panic situation, it surprised me how quick it stops.

Re: Slippery Kizzy.
I had it towed to the shop. Turns out I cracked a wheel and bent the steering set up.
Parts and labor, the damage comes to $4,277.
The SLS wheel is around 600, the alignment is 100, and the new steering set up is 3,300.
I just turned it over to insurance and I'm letting them handle it.

Slippery Kizzy.
So today it snowed here, and as I was on my way home I had to drive down a hill that also turns to the right. I wasnt going very fast at all, but once it started sliding down the hill it was gone. It got up a little speed, went sideways, and slammed up against a curb where it stopped.(It hit the cur...
