Re: Still have the Kizashi on my list..

Yeah there are a number of reasons why manuals are going extinct.. Autos providing comparable or better performance/MPG's these days Base model "affordable" cars now mostly coming with auto standard. (kids aren't forced to learn to drive a stick) Urban area highways, freeways and even toll...

Re: Still have the Kizashi on my list..

I hear what you guys are saying, and honestly if the dealership had come down a little below $20k (before TT&L) I'd be an owner of a 2013 Accord Sport right now. I'm well aware of the risks of Kizashi ownership, but getting a good one anywhere from $5-8k less than a newer Accord could more than ...

Re: Still have the Kizashi on my list..

If I could get in a low mileage 2013 Accord sport for around $18k out the door I'd do it, but that doesn't look possible unless I wait a while longer. The TSX can be had for that much, but I'd have to go with an older model with more miles on the clock. I'm sure the new 6 is a great car, but it will...

Re: Still have the Kizashi on my list..

KuroNekko- I've thought about both the Regal and TSX, and may add them to my test drive list. From what I understand the TSX is the Euro Accord with a few extra luxury bits thrown in, and the Regal is a reskinned Opel Insignia..right? Subaru's just don't appeal to me, mostly because of the looks ins...

Still have the Kizashi on my list..

But I'm starting to seriously waver. I don't know if you guys remember, but I started a thread a while back about trying to track down a low mileage GTS/SLS with a 6MT and not having much luck without traveling 900+ miles away from where I live. Well, I'm still in the market for a new (used) car, an...

Re: worries

Actually between work and loving the vehicle, those 5 days were gone before I knew it=/ But we still love the vehicle. The thing I'm so glad I did was to get the carmax plus service plan. So after the deductible, carmax should be responsible for finding the parts for repair. After that though we'll...

Re: worries

Oh, I guess I should add that if and when I do buy a Kizashi..I'll pay everything upfront with a cashiers check. If I had to finance then I would probably go with something else. Are you already past the Carmax "5 day return" window?

Re: worries

Hi, I'm not a Kizashi owner yet, but it's still at the top of my list when I get back to car shopping. (I'm looking for a 6MT which is extremely difficult to find) Having said that, yes Suzuki pulled out of the U.S. market almost exactly a year ago...but they say they will maintain parts/service for...

Re: Adding Leather Seats

You can get any seats recovered in leather, but the expense of getting anything even close to the OEM leather quality will likely negate the great deal you got on the car. Katzkin is a good option, (I know someone who did this a while back but it wasn't cheap) or maybe look around at some local upho...

Re: Falling apart right before my eyes....

It would be interesting to compare Aussie roads to the USA- to see what each person constitutes as "unacceptable". I'm not saying Australia is worse, but to get a perspective of how each country's road are. Where I live they have manhole covers laid directly where your RHS wheels hit them...
