Re: CVT Transmission...problems, problems, and more problems

That's good to hear tc. I've been playing nice with it using a light foot. The dealership tells me there is no Break in period but I don't like taking chances. Hopefully the MPG gets better too as I'm getting about 24.5 mpg with 50/50 Hwy/city with a light foot. Not the numbers I was hoping for con...

Re: CVT TRANS

Yes, I think that is the reply I got word for word. In other words, they have your money and they don't really care about the vibration this causes in a $40,000.00 car and the fact that you might not be happy with it!

Re: CVT TRANS

makes me wonder why Suzuki did not make the trans with a sport or economy switch , with al the electronics in the car 1 more switch may have solved this issue. Yes that way they could have great "official" economy figures and have a much nicer car to drive! Even without this it would be b...

Re: Factory fitted sat nav and bluetooth

As tc says very expensive as a Suzuki option. I think when I enquired it was about $A4,500.00 + fitting!! and of course on the 2010 model you won't have steering wheel controls for the bluetooth. Here's the option I chose for my 2010 XLS: http://www.kizashiclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=111...

Re: CVT TRANS

Vibration was not a "characteristic I was expecting in a $40,000 car (yes that's what the top of the range SLS cost in Australia when they were released). Neither my son's $15,000 Mitsubishi Colt or my wife's $20,000 Kia has as much vibration as the Kizashi!

Re: CVT TRANS

It is a known problem (or in Suzuki Australia's terms a "characteristic") of the CVT implementation with the Kizashi. Some people find it a real issue, me included, some people don't seem to notice it at all. There are many links in various forums discussing this "characteristic"...

Re: Vibration through the floor of the car

Just found this link and it appears the reviewer found the same vibration problem (and I agree with his summation of the cause FWIW)! http://www.cars.com/suzuki/kizashi/2010/expert-reviews/?revid=55747 This link also has some interesting info towards the end. http://www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-kiza...
