Re: Black and Red PlastiDip

jadeng97 is correct. That's why I liked it. No need to remove badges. Just tape, spray and peel. In fact, I didn't have to remove my wheels either. I just tore some plastic bags in half, shoved them between the spokes to cover the breaks and sprayed, then wiped off the excess. Onikarge, I still need...

Black and Red PlastiDip

Can't mod to much cause I'm giving it to my kid when she can drive, so at least if she doesn't like these colors, she can just peel them off. It was my first time using Plastidip so I'm not sure how great it came out. 20170220_175857.jpg 20170220_175835.jpg 20170220_175654.jpg 20170220_175643.jpg 20...

Re: License plate lights

Just got around to replacing these this week. Didn't make sense reading until I did it so I made a video. As stated previously, you just pull on the black tab to the side to get the cover off and there is a metal tab to push back to release the bulb. These are NOT the same size as the rear dome ligh...

Re: DIY: Disable DRLs

Just did this on a US 2013 base model and worked like a charm. Thanks! Had previously replaced Highs with LED thinking my low HID would be bright enough but they are not as bright as my last car so I put the stock high back in, just didn't want those dim yellow DRL on whenever I drove. I had already...

Re: DIY: Self opening trunk

LOL! I didn't have THAT problem. I had the 4 pack of 2 different sizes used one short and one long connected like you had yours. It would pop up the trunk just enough to grab it. I put the other pair on the other side and it pops up all the way, so it totally works now! Now on to the next project...

Re: DIY: Self opening trunk

I think I bought the same set of springs as Remav. Also had an issue with the spring sliding up the rod whenever I shut the trunk. Will try how you have it in the video.

Re: splash guards

Thanks, but I really need the fronts.
I may just get some universals and cut to fit them right as I'm considering the RKSport lip kit which means the OEM ones wouldn't fit anyway.

Re: splash guards

Does anyone know if the OEM splash guards are still available? I can't seem to finds them and the universal ones I found seem very long.

Re: LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs

Thanks.
I may try them out anyway just because it's so much easier to get to the tail light bulbs then the headlight bulbs. LOL!

btw, I'm glad to see ya'll still active here. I wasn't going to post because I figured this board died when they stopped making the Kizashi after such a short run.

Re: LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs

HI all.
Quick question: Since the housings are red, how do you think white LEDs would look in replacing the brake lights? I have a set of white LEDs that fit lying around because I purchased the wrong size for another application but didn't think it was worth returning.
