Regarding the tire gel, I don't use tire shine anymore as many people have told me it degrades the rubber and leads to premature sidewall cracking. I just wash and leave the standard dry look, tire shine looks so good though!

Remember the vast majority of owners have no problems with their kizashi,it just seems like a large problem because the small amount of owners with a problem seek out this forum (as they should), making it seem like a tragedy. All forums have this magnifying effect, I would think.

Someone here needs to park all the totalled Kizashis in their field out back so that the club has a good supply of parts ad infinitum.

Damn, that's all you had to do? That was THE most annoying part of the car, the giant yellow takeover of the dash. Wish I had known how to turn it off when I had the car. Most cars have a small separate yellow symbol that isn't so distracting.
