Re: Tyre choices and reviews - Australia only please.

It seems Tire Rack doesn't have the size. I may have been looking at Simple Tire, and not Tire Rack at the time, I don't recall...too many tire sites to peruse. https://simpletire.com/sumitomo-235-45r18-srw97-tires?type=1 Thanks for this. I’m in Aust so I’ll check our local suppliers .. Sent from m...

Re: Tyre choices and reviews - Australia only please.

Don't know if the Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 235/45R18 94W are available to you, but I've put a thousand or so miles on them since earlier this year and am, pleasantly, quite surprised. They are a very nice budget tire (not low-budget) and are holding their own well compared to the other more expensive s...

(245/45R18?) Re: Tyre choices and reviews - Australia only please.

Hi there guys, Hope you don't mind me resurrecting an old topic ... my 235/45R18's are due for replacement soon. The ones I've had for the past 30k kms are Hankook Ventus Prime 2's - they've been very very good tyres - quiet, gripped in the dry like it was on rails. In the wet they grip hard but do ...

Re: Ideas sought - installing temperature monitor for CVT oil

There's already one built in. Get an OBD2 monitor and read the one the factory gave you. I’ve actually done quite a bit of research in past year about the OBD2 option - I actually already have an OBD2 connected (Gofar) - I cant find the CVT temp option. That’s why I’m going down this path. I did re...

Ideas sought - installing temperature monitor for CVT oil

Hi there everyone .... I wasn't sure whether this question would qualify for the DIY stickies so I thought I would start asking here first ... in between uninstalling and reinstalling DRL's for my Kizi, with the front bumper off, I've taken the opportunity to investigate a hook up of a temperature g...

Re: License plate lights

I may have missed the information early on ... but having managed to successfully replaced the licence plate globe/bulb myself recently (thankfully didn't need to come on here to find out how!), can anyone recommend an LED globe/bulb? I just have concerns based on previous experience that the cheap ...
