Re: Rhythmic clicking sound in very low speed when car first starts

Your mileage is extremely low for an sx4 to have a failure of the cvt but it could be starting. I have had 2 sx4s with 90k break the primary balls thus breaking the primary pulley but most of the sx4 awd's will last to the 175k mark though. I pm'd you.

Re: Blower motor???

I think what you are hearing is the air conditioning . This may be louder than normal because of incorrect charge level. If the blower motor is actually making a strange noise, you should be able to confirm the naughty blower by selecting different speeds.

Re: Kizashi Stampede

Wow. That's a rare photo for sure. It's great to have someone on here who is a professional mechanic knowledgeable about these rare cars and willing to put in work on them. Have you had good luck selling the Kizashis with the rebuilt CVTs? Id never had a bit of trouble selling one. I have many fami...

Re: Noisy steering? Electric steering motor?

Most likely the noise is from one of the struts. Look for unsmooth movement at the struts wile someone slowly turns the wheel to tell which side is having a problem. That strut may be assembled or clocked wrong.

Kizashi Stampede

Somebody forgot to lock the gate. This photo was taken two and a half years ago when options of repair were expensive and or risky with used and many were dumping them for whatever they could get. The current price of a nice one needing a transmission repair has more than doubled since then and sure...

Cheap fix 13 blower motor

I have found more than a few of the blower motors to become noisy. I believe they can be saved by lubricating them if they’re caught soon enough. here’s what I’ve been doing. Remove the blower motor and remove the Phillip https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210406/cd21254913d8739113c4136095f3d015.jpg...

Re: Exhaust noise from under car (pics included)

If a broken or punctured flex is the problem, I dont think a $10 fix is what you want. The professional repair should be between $120-$220. The pipe size is 2 1/4 in. Under techincal support use search " cheap fix 08 flex "

Re: My 2012 Kisashi

I actually find the starter bolts to be very easy. The top one is accessed from the top coming in from the tranny side. The other , along with the positive cable nut is accessed from below. If used isnt what you want , it can be easily repaired at a starter /alternator rebuild shop.

Re: Car getting stuck in gear

The todays problem and 3 month ago problems I believe, are 2 separate issues. Todays problem , Im thinking most likely a shifter asm problem . You may want to check with a Suzuki warranty facility to see if there might be a campaign still open on your car for a shifter modification. On the whining n...
