Ah I didn't see the attachment option Yes it does look like a steel mesh. Problem is I don't think it's covering the original part anymore. It's pushed backward further down the pipe and now just hanging. Does it need to be replaced since there's nothing now covering the flex pipe part you mentioned...

Hey blackcat. Good to see that you are still around. Every half a year I use ur sticky guide to change the front lights. Not sure why but seems the images only show up with pc browsers but not on a mobile device. But yes like Blyons said it does look like to be a heat shield after more googling. And...

Can anybody tell me what this is under my kizashi and if this is a problem? (pics included)

So today my underbody scraped some garbage people left out on the road. Heard something so I got on the floor and looked after I got home. There was something HANGING off the exhaust pipe (?) midline of the car near the FRONT. It looks like the remaining of some part. Can anyone tell me what it is a...

Re: Rhythmic clicking sound in very low speed when car first starts

Thanks for the replies. 1) Correct. The rhythmic clicking/tapping sound is only present when the car is in very slow motion and corresponds to the turning of the wheel. And it is not present if I give it more gas and pick up speed. Only there with initial motion from stop, and reappears when the car...

Rhythmic clicking sound in very low speed when car first starts

My Kizashi developed this annoying and scary noise that corresponds to the driving speed (or how fast the wheel is turning) ONLY at very slow speed (initial acceleration or slowing down) and ONLY if the car has sat cold for a long time (only in the morning or when I go home from work, lasts 5 minute...

Replacing ONE tpms

So went to a shop for a slow leak, they said it's from my tpms and replaced it, but the blinking came on so I guess it's not programmed correctly. They took it out and put a rubber stem in and told me to go to the dealership. I know lots of people have had problem with local shops programming tpms, ...

Re: AWD MODE

I used to usually leave AWD off, to "be mor fuel efficient and minimize wear" till someone on the forums mentioned that we should use it since we paid for it. I aslo think it'd be too late to toggle it on when you actually need it at that moment. So any sign of wet road, hill etc, I leave ...

Re: Dash cam installed

I wanted everything out of sight and hidden so. You will most likely need an extension cable, around $10 from local RadioShack when it was still open. I use a mobius, with a mount that it easily slides off if I park in a sketchy neighborhood.

Re: Dash cam installed

I route mine in the crease of the A-pillar, down the side of dash to under the carpet, using an extension cable route it to the center armrest power jack. The arm rest lid has a little indent for this purpose and allows the cable to come through when closed. This freed up the front center console ja...
