Mine does it all the time with nothing more than a sweatshirt on the seat, and on sunny days it will do it with nothing at all on the seat.

You can see them. They're circles about the size of a quarter, there are 4 across the bumper, I believe they're near the edge where it curves to be horizontal. I think you can turn them off with a button to the left of the steering wheel. I wonder if that would make the warning go away?

I had mine done a few years ago. It was a Compustar, don't remember the exact model but it was one with a 2 way receiver and a long signal, a half mile I think. Cost me a little under $500 at the time.
