Re: O2 Sensor
My 2 cents...no pro here either, but on previous high mileage vehicles I've owned, I had performance (MPGs) and exhaust failures (burnt up cats) due to things like lazy sensors and computers that allow for a certain amount of tolerances that over time become a problem. It was suggested to me that it...

Re: LED headlights
Are you going to put the LEDs you have in the high beams or return them due to the "recall"? I thought about it, but I'm going to return them, put my money somewhere else. The Sylvania Silverstar Ultra halogens work good for me as the high beams. As you know, they don't suffer from the sa...

Re: Valve Cover Gasket
I need to replace my gasket soon too. I've been recently smelling a bit of oil after driving. I checked the engine and see that my valve cover gasket is weeping a little and oil is soaking down onto the headers a bit. This would explain the burning oil smell. I cleaned it up and that helped with th...

Re: LED headlights
What Kelvin color temp are your LED bulbs? My LED's are running 6000k...that seems to be most prevalent on the market. I've seen 3000k yellow but not much else. I did just place an order for 4300k HIDs for my main lights will probably throw my halogens back in the fogs for now, considering getting ...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
Replaced all rotors and pads with Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport from Rock Auto. So far, the brakes are quite and smoooth. I suppose I was expecting them to be more "grabby" as they're suppose to be somewhat more performance orientated, not that I wanted track brakes or anything. I suppose...

Re: LED headlights
I wish I just had the time like I used to... I know what you mean! That's why I was hoping the LEDs would be good...was looking for an easy long term solution to bulbs burning out so regularly. Now that I've had them for a few days, I found their fatal flaw that I didn't initially read about in my ...

Re: LED headlights
I installed HIKARI off Amazon...one of a bazillion brands I'm pretty sure are all coming out of the same Chinese factory. No particular reason for these over the others, just wanted some that looked like they'd fit, which these did, plug-in-play. They are adjustable as far as how to orientate the bu...

Installed LED bulbs in my head lights and fog lights...tired of changing burnt out halogens! Restored lenses while at it. Car looks good!
