Re: Found out why my Kizashi was a bit lethargic

Yes, there should be a rubber seal there. Suzuki calls it "front weatherstripping" with part number 7234175H00. https://monsterfactoryparts.com/parts/2012/Suzuki/Kizashi/index.cfm?action=partDetail&section=BODY%20HARDWARE&group=HOOD&subgroup=HOOD%20%26%20COMPONENTS&componen...

Re: Found out why my Kizashi was a bit lethargic

Been a while since I've seen a Kizashi engine bay but I believe the front of the hood is sealed against the top of the bumper. The intake draws air from the space in front of the radiator through the vents around the hood latch.

Re: Rear wheel hot/burning smell

Sticking rear calipers seem to be a common issue on Kizashis. This is why many of us experienced excessive rear brake pad wear.

Make sure the slide pins are cleaned and lubed with silicone and that the pad retaining clips are clean.

Re: Oxygen sensors

Factory oxygen sensors are made in Japan so it's definitely not Bosch. As Kuro said, it's either Denso or NTK/NGK. Our factory plugs are NGK so maybe the oxygen sensors are from them as well?

If you can make it knock by hand then imagine the forces while driving. Check the sway bar bushings and end links

Re: RE: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Since I have the base, I have no heated size mirrors. I have on order two replacement heated side mirrors (just the glass). I've verified there is juice to the wire harness when the rear defog is activated. So just need to run jumper wires to the glass from the hot wires. I'll post up instructions ...
