Re: Floormat retainer piece
Please forgive me if this has been previously discussed. I searched but couldn't find the answer. Is there a solution for the floor mat retainer piece? My Kizashi did not have the retainer pieces when I purchased it used. I have a Hexomat set in my Kizashi and they slide around every time I drive m...

Re: Headunit help and suggestions
Hey guys. Brand new owner of a bone stock 2012 Kizashi. Price was right, so were the miles and she's an upgrade over my 2004 Trailblazer. One of the things that almost kept me from buying is the complete lack of any way to stream music from my phone to the car. No aux, and I have the factory headun...

Re: Rims
The winter is coming soon and I will have to change the tyres. Saying so, I saved the wheels from my previous car. The wheels are 5 spoke original wheels from Suzuki Vitara, and I put the Nokian winter tyres 225 45 R17 on it. The tyres are fast new and I only drove them 3 months last winter. Howeve...

Re: Blown head gasket? Other seal leak?
What year is your Kizashi? There was a notice for some of the early 2010 cars of a potential casting weakness that may cause the block to crack (on either the front or back of the motor) along the line where the head bolts bottom out. Suzuki extended the warranty for the affected vehicle range to 20...

Re: Heated Power Seat Installation
Great write up. I recently acquired a 2010 GTS with black cloth and non heated seats. If I purchased a set of leather heated seats, you are saying all I'd need to purchase would be the center stack piece to enable this feature? Very tempting if I can find an interior if so. Thanks! To the best of m...

Update:
I decided to see what I though of the tan seat back shells with the black seats. I'll leave it that way for a bit and decide how I feel about it.

Re: Proper cvt fluid level
Thank you bdleonard for that tsb . I knew Jatco tried to fix the over temp situation a couple times but I never had access to the tsb s . The first time it was to slightly raise level with dipstick with cuts then . So The next change was done at 2012 model year with that deeper pan and actually low...

The Right Stick Is For Last Model Of Kizashi? 2012-2013? As I recall, due to the deeper pan the 2012/2013 would come with the longer stick, pictured on the left. The TSB about the pan / stick was around here somewhere. I'll see if I can hunt it down. EDIT: See attached. The longer dipstick goes wit...

Re: Heated Power Seat Installation
I just realized your car’s paint is blue. Since blue Kizashis only come with tan interiors, I guess yours may be the only one in the world with black seats lol. Yeah, when I was doing it, I realized I was making a combo that would be absolutely unique. Given the dash, steering wheel, center stack, ...
